About Chandler EAA 1445

We are Chandler EAA 1445 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.  We were designated a Bronze Level Chapter in 2019 and 2022.

The name Experimental Aircraft Association sounds a little scary. It conjures up images of a room full of aeronautical engineers with their laptops and CAD software. Nothing could be further from the truth. The best description of our members would be Aviation Enthusiasts.  Do you love to watch movies about aviation? Have you ever stopped by an airport...just to watch? Do you find it nearly impossible to not look up when an airplane passes overhead. Well, you're probably one of us. Many of our members are pilots and many are not. A few own their own aircraft and some are building their own aircraft. Some just like getting together at 10:00am on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Chandler, Arizona Airport terminal and talk about aviation. We usually have an interesting program about some aspect of aviation. Guests are always welcome so stop by and say hello. If you enjoy airplanes yourself, maybe you will consider joining the EAA and our chapter.
